ScanIt
"scanIt" is an app that assists users in locating the same product at a similar price point by simply scanning it. One of its key features is the ability to scan groceries and other goods and get help in finding the item's location or price.
Overview
scanIt is a platform that allows users to scan products and locate where to repurchase them. The user experience design process was utilized, including empathy, defining, ideating, prototyping, and testing. The app scans the product and assists users in searching for where to buy and prioritizing either the product's location or price.

Interview
To start the project, I conducted four interviews where I observed and asked questions about scanning household goods for repurchasing. Through these user interviews, I gained insight into the product and its users, empathized with their experiences and motivations, and collected quantitative and qualitative data. Additionally, I researched existing apps to see how other companies are addressing the same issue.
POVs after interviews
Would like to buy the similar
It depends what type of the product. If it’s makeup product will want to get the same one.
Delivery V.S. Pickup
Less than 25 miles away can do in-store shopping, but mostly people like to deliver.
Product Promotion
Mostly don’t like it, but if it only send to your email once a week will be okay for it.
Define
“As a buyer, I want to know each product I purchased before so that I know where and how to buy it next time.”
Ideate
Wireframes
After conducting research, I created sketches and wireframes for the app's screens and layout. I also noted down the next steps, including designing the app's logo and color scheme. Gradually, I progressed to creating a low-fidelity wireframe and eventually built a high-fidelity prototype.

Takeaways🤟🏻
Takeaways🤟🏻
Users appreciate the simplicity of the app's first screen but find the scan screen needs to be more precise. Additionally, they suggest adding a toast notification before the payment screen to guide how to cash out. I oversaw the entire development process, from initial research to the final high-fidelity user interface, and improved my presentation skills through this project.
