From the data I researched, many new applications are emerging and affecting human daily life, from wearable devices and smart manufacturing to smart homes and ambient intelligence. People are increasingly using these devices for convenience, such as Google Home, Amazon Echo, or Xiaomi Home, all of which have assistants that feel like real people. While we purchase these devices to protect our homes, they do face privacy and security issues. After conducting research, I have a few questions in mind: How much data is being collected and shared by connecting all apps using Amazon Alexa? What aspect of our lives does Amazon not touch? How many other home device apps do not partner with Amazon, and which parts of our lives are safe from Amazon?

• The Interviewee feel uncomfortable with the smart home devices due to the reasons of the security and privacy
• The interviewee have a least 3 smart home devices in their home but mostly they are the entertainment devices
• One of the interviewee mentioned about that the Ring footage can be evidences if anything involving crime.

Utilizing the double diamond design process to develop the project has helped me gain a more comprehensive understanding of design thinking. By incorporating this approach into the project, I have generated more innovative ideas and gathered valuable information. Throughout this process, I have acquired knowledge of various design processes, design thinking, and relevant real-world challenges related to the project. The end product of this project is an app.
